What is this?

Sounds is an application for recording, manipulating, and exporting sound recordings.

Some features of Sounds include:

• Support for importing and exporting common audio formats;
• A multi-track timeline with volume, pan, mute, and track locking;
• Waveform editing with cut, trim, copy, paste, and splice;
• Audio effects such as built-in equaliser, compressor, limiter, noise gate, reverb, etcetera;
• Noise reduction and restoration with click/pop removal, hiss reduction, noise suppression, and so on;
• Mixing and mastering with bus routing, loudness metering, and mastering presets;
• Metadata and tagging support to edit tags, embed album art, and manage cue sheets; and
• Search sounds and view results.
