What is this?
Phone is an application that enables users to transmit audio and video streams over the internet to communicate in real time. Like other call apps, Phone captures microphone and camera input, encodes it, and streams it.
Some features of Phone include:
- One-to-one audio or video calls;
- Group audio or video calls;
- Screen sharing to display a user desktop or application window;
- Call history showing when calls occurred and their duration;
- Call recording for later viewing, must have permission from all participants; and
- All calls are peer-to-peer and encrypted, both in storage and transmission.
